Web NDL Authoritiesについて

詳細情報画面から、新たにWikidataへの連携を開始しました。
国立国会図書館の典拠ID（NDL Authority ID）を記録したWikidataが存在する場合、当該典拠の詳細情報画面に、WikidataのIDと日本語のラベルがWikidataへのリンクとして表示されます*。
また、WikidataにWikipedia（日本語版）のページが記録されている場合には、このページの項目名が、Wikipediaへのリンクとして表示されます。
これにより、これまでWikipediaの検索結果へのリンクを表示していた個人名・家族名・団体名では、典拠IDを記録したWikidataが存在する場合、直接Wikipediaに遷移できるようになります。

国立国会図書館の典拠IDの記録は、Wikidataによるものです。このため、Wikidataの情報の信頼性について、国立国会図書館が保証するものではありません。

また、典拠の名称/タイトルと、典拠IDを記録したWikidataの日本語のラベルが異なる場合も、Wikidataの日本語のラベルがそのまま表示されます。

*詳細情報画面はキャッシュを優先的に表示するため、以前に表示したことのある典拠では、Wikidata等へのリンクが表示されない場合があります。この場合は、ブラウザの履歴を削除することで、リンクが表示されるようになります。

A new link to Wikidata has been added to the Detailed Information screen. If a Wikidata item that contains the corresponding NDL authority ID exists, the Wikidata ID and the Japanese label will be displayed on the Detailed Information screen as links to Wikidata*.
In addition, if a sitelink to Japanese Wikipedia exists in the Wikidata item, the title of the page will be displayed as a link to Wikipedia.
For Authorities of Personal Name, Family Name and Corporate Body Name, if a Wikidata item with the corresponding authority ID exists, a direct link to the Wikipedia page will be displayed, instead of the link to a Wikipedia search result that was previously shown.

NDL authority IDs are recorded in Wikidata, and the National Diet Library does not guarantee the reliability of the information provided by Wikidata.
In cases where the Name / Title of the authority differs from the Japanese label of the Wikidata item that contains the NDL authority ID, the Japanese label from Wikidata is displayed as is.

*For the detailed information screen, cached data is prioritized for display. As a result, for sources you’ve previously viewed, links to Wikidata or Wikipedia may not appear. If this happens, clearing your browser history will allow the links to show up properly.

2025年10月に実施したWeb NDL Authoritiesの検索機能の改善についてお知らせします。

なお、既存典拠に対して、この改修の内容を反映するための更新を順次実施しています。更新中はこのお知らせと異なる検索結果となる場合がありますので、語の間にスペースを入れた場合と入れない場合の、両方の検索を実施いただくようお願いいたします。

個人名の検索機能の向上

名称/タイトルや別名/別タイトルがカタカナ、ひらがなの場合に、姓と名を続けて入力した場合や、外国人名の場合に資料に表記されやすい、「名姓」を続けて入力した形からも検索できるようになりました。

また、個人名の名称/タイトルや別名/別タイトルのカナ読みについても、姓と名を続けて入力した検索ができるようになりました。

ただし、姓名が3語以上となる場合は、全体を連結した形からは検索できません。各語の間にスペースを入れて再検索をしてください。

検索における中黒の扱いを変更しました

検索における全角記号「・」（中黒）を、これまでの無視される記号から、スペースと同様の扱いとなる記号に変更しました。

This notice informs you about improvements to the search function of Web NDL Authorities implemented in October 2025.
Updates are being applied sequentially to existing authority records to reflect these changes. During the update process, search results may differ from what is described in this notice, so please make sure to perform searches both with and without spaces between words.
 

The search functionality of Personal Names has been improved.

It is now possible to search for Name/Title and Variant Name(s)/Title(s) written in katakana or hiragana even when the family name and given name are entered together.
For foreign names, it is now possible to search by entering the given name followed by the family name, as this order is often used in materials.
In addition, for personal names, it is now possible to search for the kana readings of Name/Title and Variant Name(s)/Title(s) by entering the family name and given name together, with or without a space.
 
However, if a name consists of three or more words, it cannot be searched as a single concatenated string. If no results are found, please perform the search again with spaces inserted between each word.
 
Changes to how full-width middle dot “・” are handled in searches.

The full-width middle dot “・” in searches has changed from a character that is not recognized to one that is treated in the same way as a space.

2025年8月29日より、「一括ダウンロード用ファイル」ページでの著作典拠の一括ダウンロードを開始します。これに伴い、著作典拠一覧ページは削除しました。

著作典拠の一括ダウンロード用ファイルはおよそ3ヵ月ごとに更新します。

一括ダウンロード用ファイル掲載より後に作成または更新された著作典拠は、新しく作成した「SPARQL検索クエリ例」のページから検索して取得できます。

「SPARQL検索クエリ例」のページには、他にも以下の2つのクエリを掲載しており、トップページからの検索では検索対象としていない項目からも、典拠を検索・取得できます。

• 経歴または職業から個人名を検索
• ある日付以降に作成された普通件名または地名件名を検索

As of August 29, 2025, Authority File for Works is available for batch download from the Files for Batch Download page. Accordingly, the previous “著作典拠一覧”(authority data list page, in Japanese) has been removed.

The file is updated approximately every three months.

Any Work authority data created or updated after the last update date can be retrieved by searching “SPARQL検索クエリ例”(SPARQL Search Query Examples, in Japanese).

This page also provides the following two additional queries. These allow you to access authority data not covered by searches available from the top page:

• Search for Personal Names based on biography or occupation
• Search for Topical Terms or Geographic Names created after a specified date

「SPARQL検索クエリ例」のページを作成しました。

このページには、SPARQLを用いた便利な検索事例を掲載しました。トップページからの検索では検索対象としていない項目からも、典拠を検索・取得できます。事例ごとに検索式があらかじめ入力されているので、「クエリ実行」ボタンをクリックするだけで結果を取得できます。

掲載しているクエリ例は以下の3件です。

• 特定の日付以降に作成または更新された著作典拠を検索
• 経歴または職業から個人名を検索
• ある日付以降に作成された普通件名または地名件名を検索

 

A page titled “SPARQL検索クエリ例“(SPARQL Search Query Examples, In Japanese) is now available.
This page provides useful SPARQL search examples. With these examples, you can search and retrieve authority data from fields not covered by searches available from the top page. Each example has the query pre-entered.

 

The following three query examples are listed:

• Search for Works created or updated after a specific date
• Search for Personal Names based on biography or occupation
• Search for Topical Terms or Geographic Names created after a specific date

詳細情報画面にシソーラスマップを追加

典拠データに上位語・下位語・関連語が含まれている場合の詳細情報画面に、シソーラスマップを追加しました。

シソーラスマップは詳細情報画面下部に表示されます。表示された上位語がさらに上位語を持つ場合、また下位語がさらに下位語を持つ場合には、それらもつないで表示されます。これにより、「現在の語」からつながりをたどって、多階層の上位語・下位語との関係性を一覧し、関連語を含めて、語と語の関係をマップで見ることができます。

なお、この追加に伴い、これまで表示していたグラフィカル表示は終了しました。

SPARQL1.1エンドポイントに機能を追加

SPARQL1.1エンドポイントに、以下の機能を追加しました。

・クエリ例の表示
・テーブル形式、グラフ図（一部対応）、応答内容の表示
・クエリ作成時の入力補助

Added Thesaurus Map to Detailed Information Screen

Thesaurus Map has been added to Detailed Information screen when the authority data includes Broader Terms, Narrower Terms, or Related Terms.

Thesaurus Map is displayed at the bottom of Detailed Information screen.

If Broader or Narrower Terms themselves have additional Broader or Narrower Terms, those are connected and displayed as well.

This makes it possible to trace connections from Current Term and view the hierarchical relationships broader and narrower terms at a glance, as well as to see the relationships between terms—including related terms—visualized in a map.

With this addition, Graphical Display that had been shown until now has been discontinued.

Added Features to the SPARQL 1.1 Endpoint

The following features have been added to the SPARQL 1.1 endpoint:

・Display of query examples
・Display of results in Table format, GraphView (partially supported), and Response
・Input assistance when creating queries

2025年1月16日にお知らせしておりましたWeb NDL Authorities名称典拠の典拠詳細情報画面からバーチャル国際典拠ファイル（Virtual International Authority File; VIAF）への遷移の不具合は復旧しました。

国立国会図書館では 、従来の二つのウェブサービス「国立国会図書館検索・申込オンラインサービス（国立国会図書館オンライン）」及び「国立国会図書館サーチ」を統合・リニューアルし、令和6（2024）年1月5日（金）に新たなウェブサービス「国立国会図書館サーチ」（以下、新「国立国会図書館サーチ」といいます）として公開しました。
これに伴い、Web NDL Authoritiesの典拠詳細情報画面からの書誌データ検索の連携先を、新「国立国会図書館サーチ」に変更しました。
新「国立国会図書館サーチ」について、詳しくは「国立国会図書館オンライン」及び「国立国会図書館サーチ」の統合・リニューアルのページ （インターネット資料収集保存事業（WARP）へリンク）をご覧ください。

The National Diet Library has integrated two of its web services—the National Diet Library Online Search and Request Service (NDL Online) and the NDL Search—and launched them as the new NDL Search web service on January 5, 2024.
For this reason, the bibliographic data search from the detailed information screen of Web NDL Authorities has linked to the new NDL Search.

国立国会図書館では、現在提供している二つのウェブサービス
「国立国会図書館検索・申込オンラインサービス（国立国会図書館オンライン） 」 及び

The National Diet Library, Japan, (the NDL) plans to integrate two of its current web services: the National Diet Library Online Search and Request Service (NDL Online) and the NDL Search . These two will be launched as a new NDL Search web service in January 2024.

For this reason, the bibliographic data search from the detailed information screen of Web NDL Authorities will be linked to the new NDL Search in January 2024.

Web NDL Authoritiesが提供する個人名典拠の件数が、2023年10月1日付で1,000,034件となり、100万件に到達しました。2012年1月のWeb NDL Authorities公開時の768,136件から約11年で、約24万件の個人名典拠を新たに提供したことになります。個人名典拠を用いることで、検索キーワードのゆれ（例：「シェイクスピア」と「Shakespeare」）による検索もれや検索ノイズ（意図しない検索結果）のない、資料の的確な検索が可能になります。これからもWeb NDL Authoritiesにご期待ください。

We are pleased to announce that the number of “Personal Name” authorities available on Web NDL Authorities has just reached 1,000,000 as of October 1, 2023. The National Diet Library has provided about 240,000 new personal name authorities since Web NDL Authorities was launched in January 2012. Using personal name authorities can help users search materials with variation in their author’s names at once (e.g., “シェイクスピア” and ” Shakespeare “).
